THERAPEUTIC LASER


Therapeutic Laser (class 3 B) is the use of light energy to affect tissues.















Indications for use include:
Inflammatory conditions (bursitis, tendinitis, fasciitis, and capsulitis)
Arthritis
Wounds (both surgical and non-surgical) and superficial skin lesions
Muscle contractures and scar tissue
Pain
As an alternative to needles for acupuncture points

The effects of Laser include:
Accelerated wound healing
Enhances immune cells to fight off pathogens / infections
Increases circulation and vascularity in tissues
To reduce pain, muscle spasms, trigger points or hematomas
Pain reduction via endorphin release
Stimulates cartilage regeneration / repair
